I shake my head and close the curtain again, grabbing the soap to finish washing. Im still me. Were your home. Trigger warning: View Spoiler First off: Credence will *not* be a book that will work for everyone. The shadow of her parents fame followed her everywhere. They all need therapy. Stayed up late and couldnt put it down. She was forgiving. Sent to live with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, in the mountains of Colorado, Tiernan soon learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore. Waking up this morning with her wrapped around me, her head laying on my shoulder, and her nose and lips tucked into my neck as she slept so peacefullyher holding me and me holding herI. I was drawn from the moment I saw her, entranced when she watched me in the barn, broken whenever she cried, and sold when she stayed. Theres plenty of time to do this. That doesnt happen in this book, and its disturbingly obvious that Kaleb isnt interested in Tiernans consent once we get the first chapter of his POV. The only consensual encounter they seemed to have was the threesomeand dont get me started on that. She threads it through her fist, like I did so many times as I made it. I was also fairly surprised by the ending, it made obvious at a certain point in the book what the ending will be, but in the beginning in the middle I really didnt see it coming. I KNEW that Kaleb would have them, I just couldnt guess where. Noah is boring and childish. Credence by Penelope Douglas (9781660089055) But he Hes going to keep her. Title: Credence Author: Penelope Douglas Genre: Romance Rating: Umm..wow. I stop to face him Im not their property. Everything on their property is their property They live by different rules up here, Tiernan. Credence was a dark romance where taboo relationships were explored as four individuals tried to bond and move on from the tragedies and harrowing incidents they had survived over the years. Kaleb is mine.. But has anything really changed? Also, mom. Tiernan and Kaleb have nothing but trauma in common. I love waking up to this. Douglas did her fans a massive disservice in not preparing them for the content within the book. Being taken care of. I squeeze her ass, feeling the belt behind her and know without a doubt, its never going get better than this. And their family came together in a non-traditional way absolutely but PDouglas made it make sense. And this is your warning for spoilers. I want to make it up to you. But it isnt only a story about Tiernan. Douglas has so many other fantastic books with consistent, relevant character development that truly showcase her abilities as a writer. Fuck food and water. She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching. WebTiernan de Haas doesnt care about anything anymore. The smut part of the book was well written but I didn't really enjoy the actual 'story' it was supposed to tell, which I am still unsure what it should be about. Next time, Ill do better. But somehow with Penelope Douglass emotionally-driven writing and with seeing things through the multiple POVs, it worked out okay in the end for me. She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching. Sent to live with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, in the mountains of Colorado, Tiernan soon learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore.
